Ravi Shankar

"[T]he two of you rubber-banding / even with the inevitable decay into something / else" might be an apt description of the poetic process of Ravi Shankar's exhilarating new book, What Else Could It Be: collaboration as a seamless M̦bius strip between Shankar and one of a myriad of other contemporary poets, interlaced with ekphrastic poems in dialogue with visual art and dance. —Sharon Dolin
